Unlock Vitality with NAD+ Therapy
How Much Does NAD+ IV Therapy Cost? Real Pricing in Tennessee & Alabama (and What’s Actually Included)
Most NAD+ IV clinics make you call before they’ll quote a price. That’s a tell. When pricing is hidden, it’s usually because the final bill comes with surprises — facility fees, infusion fees, supply fees, “consultation” fees stacked on top of the session itself.
We don’t operate that way. This guide gives you the real numbers: what NAD+ IV therapy costs at Medical House Calls, what’s included in the flat fee, how dose and formulation affect price, and what to know about insurance, HSA/FSA, and ongoing-session packages.
If you’d rather skip ahead, the short answer is $499 to $799 per session, in your home, with everything included.
The headline number
NAD+ IV therapy at Medical House Calls starts at $499 for a standard NAD+ session and runs up to $799 for higher-dose Niagen IV sessions.
That’s one flat fee, paid at the time of service. There are no separate charges for:
- The infusion itself
- The licensed clinician’s time
- All IV supplies (bag, line, needle, monitoring)
- Travel to your home anywhere in our service area
- A complimentary Immunity IV (vitamin C, B-complex, zinc) administered with your NAD+
For comparison: a clinic-based NAD+ IV at a comparable dose in Nashville, Franklin, or Brentwood typically runs $400–$700 for the infusion alone, before any facility fee, parking, the cost of getting there, the cost of getting home while you’re still feeling the session, and the 2-to-4 hours you spend in their chair instead of yours. When patients price out a clinic session against an in-home session that includes travel, the complimentary Immunity IV, and a flat fee with no surprises, the in-home option usually comes out either even or favorably on total cost — and significantly better on time.
What dose level should you choose?
NAD+ IV at MHC is dosed in tiers from 250mg up to 1,000mg. Higher doses cost more, but more isn’t always better — the right dose depends on your goals, your history with NAD+, and your clinician’s recommendation during your consultation.
| Dose | Best for | Approximate range |
|---|---|---|
| 250mg | First-time patients, light maintenance, sensitive to drip sensation | Entry point of our pricing range |
| 500mg | Standard maintenance session, established patients | Mid-range |
| 750mg | Heavier maintenance, post-illness recovery, loading-phase sessions | Upper-mid |
| 1,000mg | Maximum standard dose, high-output goals | Upper end of our pricing range |
The most common entry point for new patients is a 250mg or 500mg session. We don’t recommend jumping to the maximum dose on your first visit — your body’s response to NAD+ varies, and a lower starting dose gives us a baseline to work from.

NAD+ IV vs Niagen IV — pricing difference
Medical House Calls offers two formulations: traditional NAD+ IV and Niagen IV (a newer, pharmaceutical-grade formulation built on nicotinamide riboside chloride).
Traditional NAD+ IV sits at the lower end of our pricing range. It’s been used in IV therapy clinics for more than a decade and produces well-documented results. Sessions can take up to 2 hours.
Niagen IV is priced at the upper end of our range. It reflects the proprietary pharmaceutical formulation, the 503B Category 1 compounding standard, and the 25+ years of research that backs the active ingredient. Niagen IV sessions infuse up to 75% faster than traditional NAD+ — typically under an hour — and tend to be more comfortable during administration.
If time-in-chair matters to you (and for most of our patients, it does), the per-hour cost of Niagen IV often works out favorably compared to traditional NAD+.
For a full comparison of the two, see Niagen IV vs Traditional NAD+ IV: What’s the Difference?.
Why doesn’t insurance cover NAD+ IV?
Short answer: NAD+ IV therapy is considered an elective wellness service, not a medically necessary treatment for a covered diagnosis. That means insurance plans — whether you’re on a high-deductible employer plan, Medicare, or anything in between — typically do not reimburse it.
Here’s the framing we share with patients who ask:
Gone are the days of the $500 deductible. Most plans now run $3,000 to $10,000 deductibles before insurance pays anything at all. That means most of the wellness services you’d want to use are coming out of your pocket regardless. An in-home NAD+ IV session at a flat fee — with no surprise bills, no facility fees, and no commute — often costs less than a comparable clinic visit after the clinic adds its overhead.
For patients who file out-of-network reimbursement claims, we provide an itemized invoice with the visit details, clinician notes, and a follow-up summary. Some patients recover a portion of their session cost this way. Reimbursement varies by carrier and plan, and we can’t guarantee it.
HSA, FSA, and other payment options
The good news: NAD+ IV therapy at MHC is eligible for payment with HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds.
If you have an HSA or FSA, those pre-tax dollars can be used to pay for your session. That effectively reduces your out-of-pocket cost by your marginal tax rate — for most patients, between 22% and 32%.
We also accept:
- Debit cards
- Credit cards (all major networks)
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
Payment is collected at the time of service. There’s no billing department, no statement showing up in the mail weeks later, and no collections process to worry about.
Save money with a session package
For patients planning multiple sessions — most do, since NAD+ benefits build with consistency — we offer a Buy 5 IVs, Get 1 Free package. At our standard pricing, that works out to roughly a 17% discount per session across the package.
Most patients use this for a loading phase (3 to 5 sessions over 2 to 4 weeks) plus a couple of maintenance sessions, or they spread the six sessions across a longer monthly cadence.
Members of our Concierge Primary Care program also receive 20% off all IV therapy sessions, including NAD+ and Niagen IV. For high-frequency NAD+ users, the membership math often pencils out favorably — and you also get unlimited house calls, direct provider access, annual labs, and the Rapid Referral Network. Are there cheaper NAD+ options out there?
Yes — and it’s worth being honest about what you’re trading.
Oral NAD+ supplements run $30 to $80 a month. They’re cheaper. They’re also significantly less effective. Your digestive system breaks down most of the NAD+ in a pill before it ever reaches your bloodstream, which is why IV delivery exists in the first place. Oral supplements have a role, especially as a maintenance layer between IV sessions, but they don’t substitute for the clinical dose IV therapy provides.
Discount IV clinics sometimes advertise NAD+ IV at lower price points. Look at what’s not included: travel and parking, the time cost of a 2-to-4-hour session at a clinic with limited scheduling, the experience of sitting in a shared infusion room, and the credentials of who’s administering it. The flat-fee, in-home, licensed-clinician model isn’t the cheapest option on the market. It is, in our experience, the option most of our patients say they prefer once they’ve tried both.
What you’re actually paying for at MHC
When you book a $499 NAD+ session at Medical House Calls, the fee covers:
- A licensed clinician — registered nurse or nurse practitioner — coming to your home
- Their time (typically 60–90 minutes total, including setup, monitoring, and packup)
- All IV supplies and pharmaceuticals
- Travel to and from your home anywhere in our service area
- A complimentary Immunity IV administered alongside your NAD+
- An itemized receipt suitable for out-of-network insurance reimbursement
- A short follow-up text from our team the next day to check on how you’re feeling
- No additional fees for anything
That last point matters. Whatever the number says, the number is the number.

FAQ

Does insurance cover NAD+ IV therapy?
Insurance plans typically do not cover NAD+ IV therapy because it’s considered an elective wellness service. We provide an itemized invoice for patients who want to file out-of-network reimbursement claims, though approval varies by carrier.
Can I use my HSA or FSA for NAD+ IV?
Yes. NAD+ IV therapy at Medical House Calls is eligible for HSA and FSA payment. Using pre-tax funds effectively reduces your cost by your marginal tax rate.
Is there a cheaper way to raise NAD+ levels?

Do you offer NAD+ IV packages or discounts?
We offer a Buy 5 IVs, Get 1 Free package. Concierge Primary Care members receive 20% off all IV therapy sessions, including NAD+ and Niagen. Speak with our team about which option fits your goals.
